Life in all its Fullness

St Paul’s, Howell Hill recently hosted a day conference on Life in all its Fullness, supported by the Renovare organisation, which resources discipleship and spiritual formation in the local church.

These engagingly presented films present discipleship as entirely a response to God’s desire for us to live full lives, correcting false narratives we may have about ourselves and God.

But God’s grace is opposed to earning our way, but not to any effort at all on our part. In fact, to enjoy this life, we need to enter sustained periods of ‘soul training’, to move us beyond simply trying (and failing) to follow Jesus, or acquiring the trappings of faith.
